IRMA

Established under the leadership of Dr. Verghese Kurien - the Milkman of India - in 1979, IRMA has, for over 47 years, been a pioneer in Rural Management education, producing leaders who have transformed India’s rural landscape. Under the aegis of “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, this legacy expands into a broader co-operative and policy-driven ecosystem, offering participants access to industry partnerships, field-based learning, and a strong alumni network of changemakers. Studying at IRMA means joining an institution that stands for values, vision, and social innovation — where management meets mission.

IRMA’s synergy with Government and Non-Government Institutions as well as International Development Organizations provides the students with an ideal ecosystem for learning, research as well as implementation experience of real on-the-ground projects.
